For a number of years Novacel has been working to increase the use of solvent-free bases (films coated with aqueous base or coextruded films).

For coated structures with a solvent-based adhesive, our coating machines are fitted with ultra-modern solvent recovery or incineration units.

Our sites at Sessa Aurunca, Italy, and at Déville-lès-Rouen, France are certified ISO 14001 ; our site at Sessa Aurunca, Italy has been awarded OHSAS 18001 (Health & Security). Novacel is working towards these both certifications for its other production sites.
